Will Allah only judge on ‘intention’?
I was watching CBC’s programm ‘Passionate Eye” about the Pakistani taliban. It showed an interview of a ‘talib’ in an Islamic school in Karachi, Pakistan. The Talib was very keen to join taliban after finishing his studies and work for their cause.
He strongly beleived that women should remain inside the house and government of Pakistan should enforce a law prohibiting all the women coming out of house.
Most surprising part of his interview was his willingness to become a suicide bomber after permission from his parents. When asked is it not wrong to do so, he replied, “when I will be in frot of Allah and Allah asks me why I did that? I will say yah Allah I did that with an intention to please you and Allah will grant me paradise.”
I am still wondering that will Allah grant Jannah to a person who killed indiscrimnately other human beings just because he/she had intention to please Allah? Will it really please Allah? Will any of the Islamic scholars will like to shed some light on this issue?

Allah almighty will not judge the deeds based on intention. It is just like if someone robs a person tp get some money to feed some poor hungery people. Will he not be punished for robbing just because he has good intention.
The authentic hadith goes like “Actions are judged by intentions”..Ahadith are the 2nd source of Islamic law after the Al-Qur’an. What we educated Muslims need to understand is the gist of the ahadith and the Qur’an, not just cling to the literal meaning of it..the faith (emaan) and actions (amaal) both go together..none of them can exist in isolation. Allah is All-Knowing, and He is indeed Just. The little brainwashed twit will definitely not get away with it..he is just a kiddo who has not yet protruded his head out of his turtle-shell yet, he has been dictated all his life..he has the capacity to think but it has been suppressed by the fascists.
There is no point in freaking out about what that little boy said..he is ignorant…don’t go by his words…please work out a bit, do some mental acrobats and then question Islam. An uninvited but friendly advise..”get your religious knowledge from authentic sources, good authorities..all the scholars are not scholars really…”
I have no doubt about hadith “Actions are judged by intentions”. However, if someone does something which is a cardinal sin with very good intention, will it be forgiven because of good intention?
Thousands of people saw that programm and got the wrong message as that kid also has wrong understanding of the hadith. The point which this post was trying to make was that what he beleives is not right.
Got your point. All sins are punishable and the gravest sins are like the strict liability offences, does not matter if you had the intent or not, you committed the offence you pay for it now..
Intention is the mental element, better judged by the Creator than His Creation.I symphatise with these brainwashed kids, what life do they have? They are brought up to mess up their Dunya and Akhira..
May Allah bless the Ummah Of Rasulullah(saw) with faith, wisdom and unity. Ameen
