Majority of British population think that Muslims are not a threat and enrich the British communities as shown in polls commissioned by Sunday Telegraph. 51% of the people surveyed said no whereas 37% considered Muslims as threat.
 
The population is polarized on the issue wether there are no-go areas for non-muslims in Britain.  35% beleive that there are no-go areas as highlighted by Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali where as 38% disagreed.  Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali has claimed that there are many no-go areas for non-Muslims in the Muslim majority areas and exteremists are harrassing others.

The British government advisor on mosques, Musharraf Hussain has stated recently that most of the country’s Islamic seminaries were producing “unemployable” graduates who were incapable of challenging the sense of alienation that led some Muslims towards violent extremism.
His concerns were voiced as it emerged that a rift is opening between the British Government and four Muslim organisations over moves to introduce national guidelines for Britain’s 1,350 mosques. Muhammad Arsalan and Atif Shamim (Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada) tied for first place for the 2007 SMC Industrial Collaboration Award for their presentation entitled DOSIMETER: Wireless Microchips in LTCC Package for Biomedical and Space Applications.

Muslims need to be chased “back to their caves”, this is what was stated by a co-chairman for Rudy Giuliani’s veterans’ coalition in New Hampshire, John Deady, in an interview with a British newspaper the Guardian.
And as a swift result of the statement, Mr. Deady offered his resignation from his volunteer position in the campaign and it was accepted by Giuliani New Hampshire Chairman Wayne Semprini. The whole Pakistani nation is in a state of shock and mourning on the untimely and tragic death of Benazir Butto, ex-prime ministor of Pakistan. The circumstances surrounding her brutal assasiantion and the way lawlessnes has started in the form of looting and destruction of financial institutions and infrasture cleary demonstrate that all the enemies of Pakistan have united to destabilize the country. Benazir Bhutto, First female prime minister of Muslim world and twice elected ex-prime minister of Pakistan, was assisnated by a gunman today when she was going back after addressing an election rally in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The gunmen then blasted himself and at least 30 other people were killed and many injured.
Benazir Bhutto returned from self-imposed exile in October this year after years out of Pakistan where she had faced corruption charges. On the day of her return she led a motor cavalcade through the city of Karachi. It was hit …

Two women members of the Ottawa Christian/Muslim Dialogue, Dr. Safaa Fouda and Sister Jean Goulet, have teamed up to facilitate a course “Islam and Christianity: History, Relations, Issues, and Perspectives“.   The course will feature commonalities as well as differences and challenges, both theological and practical – such as social justice, war, jihad, terrorism, pluralism, human rights, role of women, and more. A reminder for those who are killing other innocent people for their personal grudge or revenge.
