No US aid to Pakistan without access to A. Q. Khan

Abdul Qadeer Khan, Pakistani nuclear scientist, who allegedly ’sold’ nuclear secerets to Iran, Libya and North Korea was released from house arrest in February. US has been asking for access to A. Q Khan for investigating his alleged involvement in nuclear trading to ‘axes of evil’. 
Now US lawmakers on Thursday introduced legislation aiming to cut off military aid to Pakistan unless US officials are able to question alleged nuclear proliferator Abdul Qadeer Khan.

Is A.Q. Khan really Free Now?

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Friday declared nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan a free man, five years after he was effectively put under house arrest for allegedly operating a proliferation network. The chief justice of the IHC, Sardar Mohammad Aslam, made the decision after a closed session with lawyers for the government and Dr Khan — revered by many Pakistanis as the father of the country’s atomic bomb. ‘The petitioner is declared a free citizen and writ petition is disposed of,’ said a written order issued by the court.
