Pakistan’s Iftikhar Chaudhry has been restored

The government of Pakistan has decided to restore Iftakhar Muhammad Chaudhry as Cheif Justice of Pakistan as a result of long struggle of lawyers in Pakistan. The opposition and lawyers started long march for the restoration of ex-chief justic of Pakistan. According to reliable sources, Prime Minister of Pakistan will annouce the government’ decision in a televised address to Pakistani nation. It is a good news for the Pakistani society.

Primeminister Mr. Gilani has annouced that Iftikhar Chaudhry will be restored as Cheif Justice of Pakistan on March 22, 2009 after the retirement of current cheif justice on March 21, 2009. He also annouced filing review petition against the decision of disqualification of Nawaz Saharif and Shahbaz Sharif.
