Majority of British think Muslims are not a Threat.
Majority of British population think that Muslims are not a threat and enrich the British communities as shown in polls commissioned by Sunday Telegraph. 51% of the people surveyed said no whereas 37% considered Muslims as threat.

The population is polarized on the issue wether there are no-go areas for non-muslims in Britain. 35% beleive that there are no-go areas as highlighted by Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali where as 38% disagreed. Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali has claimed that there are many no-go areas for non-Muslims in the Muslim majority areas and exteremists are harrassing others.
Majority of people surveyed (33%) said that they will not be happy to see a new mosque build in their area. Muslims in Britain should take it seriously and take measure to create such environment that fellow British will not feel any threat or unhappiness if a new mosque is to be built. When we claim that our relegion is relegion of peace then we should be able to demonstrate that by our action and way of day to day life. I am sure if each and every Muslim start interacting with others the way a true Muslim would, a number of problems we are facing now would melt away. Actions always speak louder than words. Muslims need to show others with their deeds that yes we are friendly and peace loving human beings and not a threat to them in any way.
