“Helo! I live in Dubai and got your information through one of my friend. I looked at your profile and very impressed. I want to purchase a million dollars property through you”. If you are a realtor and receive this phone call – Be Very Careful. It could be part of a scam which is going on.

Some one will call you and tell you this type of story. Then he/she will set a meeting time with you to discuss the opportunity as the person is coming to your city.

You will receive phone call on the meeting day that the person is stuck at the airport as ‘immigration and custom officers’ are giving hard time. The so called client has missed the flight and has no money as credit cards stopped working as well. He has to stay at hotel and unfortunately cannot do that without money. Doesn’t it sound suspicious by now?

The potential client is then going to ask you to lend them some CASH and transfer the money to some money transfering company.

If greed for potential income by selling one million dollars house has not blinded you by now, you will understand what is going on and be able to save yourself from this con artist. And if you are fully concentrating on the commission which you will receive through that sale, you will send the cash and then you will never hear from that person again in your life. You will be left with at least couple of thousands debt.

Be very careful if you are in this type of situation and if possible get help from law enforcing agencies and your relevant professional body.
